Sometimes playing games can be great fun, but when you start repeating content, and actually have very little reason to replay it, lore aside, it can get pretty monotonous.

My 50 Spy has seen a little playtime, primarily just token grinding.  I even logged onto my non-thrax Demolitionist and re-equipped her, as 1) I think the humans are cuter and 2) The 1.7 patch en route makes use of stats other than body, if you use crab mines or anything.

I even have a level 8 soldier that I’m taking time to read all the quests, the turn ins, and am trying to get a comprehensive outlook on the entire game world and it’s lore.  But it’s slow going, and I keep having to reign myself in.

I think the biggest disappointment I had was this past Feedback Friday where everyone found out that elder-game content is still aways away, as well as PAU’s and other various features that people have been oohing and aahing over.

For me, I’ve got until June 7th to decide what to do.  I would like to stay, I like my clan and have friends that play, but I am tired of leveling and now, repeating the same content is becoming a little mundane as well.  But I’m trying to hold on.

I hit level 50 around midnight, on Friday.  That being said, I haven’t played at all since then.

I’ve worn myself out over the past few weeks, grinding away, having fun, but keeping consistent.  Now, I’m thinking a break may help.  I didn’t get on the game all weekend, and it may be another few nights before I do.  But, when I do get on, I don’t feel like leveling another toon, that’s for sure.

I’ll probably do what Holydragon suggests and just recruit for a while, for a week or more.  I’ll help anyone that asks, but really, I’ve no desire to grind again at all right now, nor to even run instances.

I just hope they get some elder-game content in soon, because other than seeing the sights, there isn’t a whole lot for me to do.

So at Pious Sodality we have been going through some changes. It’s a great clan, and really it’s been focusing on PvE a lot, as we have always been preparing to shift into PvP mode. As of Monday night, I think I can say that we’ve officially moved from being a PvE focused clan to a PvP oriented clan. Or, if not the clan, I know I have.

The clan has been sub-divided into 4 divisions, or platoons, each with a General to run it, and as many officers as they desire. It’s an interesting setup, and I know it has a chance to fracture the clan, but it also has just as strong, if not stronger, chance to strengthen the clan.
